What BEAR does
BEAR is a business operating system that helps you create, schedule, and publish content to social media platforms you connect, and to view analytics about that content.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Connected platform data — when you connect a social account (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), we store the access credentials needed to publish on your behalf and retrieve the analytics those platforms make available (such as reach, views, and engagement).
- Content you upload — videos, images, and captions you store in your media library for publishing.
- Usage data — basic operational logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To publish the content you schedule, to the platforms you choose, at the times you choose.
- To display analytics and recommendations inside your dashboard.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your content or platform data for advertising. We access connected platforms only to perform the actions you request.
Storage & security
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 databases and R2 object storage) with encryption in transit. Platform credentials are stored server-side and are never exposed to other users. Each workspace's data is isolated.
Third-party platforms
Publishing and analytics run through official platform APIs (including Meta Graph API, TikTok Content Posting API, YouTube Data API) and authorized intermediaries. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You can disconnect a platform at any time from Connections, which stops all further access.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete media, posts, or your entire account at any time; deletion removes the associated data from our systems. To request full deletion, email us at the address below.
Google API Services
BEAR's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
BEAR is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date.
